Gold was the largest and most stunning 6 week old puppy I had ever seen!She was and is a happy, playful, sweet and obedient girl.  In the beginning of her show career she was quite the challenge... I always felt she had run the Iditarod in a previous life!

Gold went to live with our good friends Rick and Teresa Witte at Stardust Akitas, and that is when the excitement really began...

In May 1999 she earned Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a 5pt. major at the Albuquerque, NM shows.  The very next weekend earned back to back Best of Breeds and following each, earned prestigious Working Group 2's.  All of this was accomplished from the classes! 

The first week of June 1999 in Denver, Colorado, at the Rocky Mountain Akita Specialty she earned Best in Sweepstakes, and then on to Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a 5 point major and the completion of her AKC Championship! We look forward to the future as Gold passes on her wonderful attributes to her future offspring!
